Hello,
Until today I had an amd 7950 (3GB) video card. Today I upgraded to nvidia 1080. At the same time I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. After I installed win10 i turned off the computer, removed the old 7950, installed the 1080 and I receive no signal on my monitor even if the fans are working. Sometimes I get the motherboard logo display with bios, boot priority option but it doesn't matter what keys I press, nothing happens, can't even go to bios.
If I put back the 7950 everything works fine. If I put the hdmi cable into the on-boad video card, everything works.
I connected the 1080 to another PCIe slot, same result, no signal.
I borrowed an rx 470 (8GB) from a friend and I encounter the same problem, no signal.
I connected the 1080 with a 2x6 Pin to 8 Pin Adapter. My motherboard is Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H.
What can I try?
