I'm looking to get back into PC gaming. Mainly games like Pillars of Eternity, and Divinity: Original Sin. I want to build a pc around the $1000(usd) range, that will play the sequels well, using a Tv as monitor. There's too much info for me to sort through regarding i5's and Ryzen 5's (can only really browse on my phone right now). Also note my budget isn't a buy all at once, more of about $100 a week towards it so a buy order would be appreciated. Thanks for your time in advance.

Okay, here is a build. If you have to buy the components one at a time what I would do is buy the components in the initial build first, it will run as a complete system. The integrated graphics from the i5 will allow you some low level gaming until such time as you can buy the video card.

You could possibly buy the SSD first and buy the HDD as an upgrade. Moving programs and OS from the HDD to the SSD can be a hassle.

If you don't care about waiting for the system until you have the video card then I would switch the CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600 and the mobo to a B350 like one of these. I believe that you will get a slightly better system in this price range with this CPU/mobo combination but the 1600 has no integrated graphics so you...
