So I recently decided it was time to upgrade my computer, so I went out and bought an MSI GeForce gtx 1060 I hook everything up and don't get a signal, the LEDs on the card light up but it's not outputting any visual. So dismayed and depressed by this I switch back to my old graphics card to see if I can find a solution. But to my surprise my old graphics card (Radeon hd 4870) isn't outputting a signal either, when I hook it up, my monitor just tells me to check my video cable, but much like the new graphics card I can tell it's getting power because the fans begin to spin. My mother board is an asrock g41c-gs, I've tried hooking up a VGA cable to my motherboard to see if that would help solve the problem, but I don't get a signal, I don't know if my mother board is fried or what. But any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very distressed by this situation and noticeably freaking out. Thanks
