I have an Intel i7 7700 4.2G in a Maximus IX ROG motherboard. I woke up one morning and my onboard bluetooth no longer connected to the speaker. I tried the Win 10 troubleshooter and it tells me I have no bluetooth adapter. I can't see it in device manager.

The formula does have bluetooth. Try downloading the driver from ASUS and reinstalling.

What's the exact model of your motherboard? The ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero doesn't come with bluetooth. Are you using an extension card?

ASUS MAXIMUS IX FORMULA LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 Z270 ATX Motherboard - you know it is funny because reading the reviews, they said it didn't. however, it worked great for 6 weeks!!!

Thanks Andy - I downloaded the Drivers as you suggested, but W 10 still doesnt see it when I try to install device. Do you know your way around motherboard/ BIOS - should there not be a way to turn it on in the BIOS.... Hope the problem isn't DEEPER than this since brand new!
