Hello, i hope i have found the right place in the forum, it's like my 2nd time around here, and i know this site is the best, when it comes to people who need help, you guys rock, cool community.

My pc spec are pretty outdated:
OS : Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit
CPU : Athlon X4 620
Mobo : MSI 785 GTM-E45
RAM : 2x2GB DDR 2 800Mhz (3.25 Usable since it's 32 bit OS)
GPU : Ati Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition (100-150W TDP)
HDD : 500GB Sata 2
PSU : 600W LC Power (1x 6 Pin, 1x 6+2 Pin)

Question :
Regarding my OS, i would like to know that if it's possible to just upgrade the system to 64 bit, since i am turning this into gaming and home use PC, i have a lot of files on it, don't have spare or external HDD to Backup everything and reinstal OS. So it it possible to just upgrade the system to 64 bit, since 3.25 GB's isn't great for almost any game today, i play LoL and it's working fine, but i have account for Overwatch and would like to play it too here. So what options am i facing.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Solution
Unfortunately upgrading to 64 bit from 32 bit requires a clean install. Your only option is to back up the files you want to keep to a USB drive before starting the upgrade.
