is it compatible with a 1070?
yes it is, it should be able to power a 1070 with mid-level hardware, but if you are planning to use it with high-end hardware or for gaming purpose then i recommend you to switch to a better PSU, because this PSU is not the best and you can lot better PSU's at this price range.
