So I'm looking for a small form factor case with support for an ATX motherboard.
I'm going to be moving soon and my current case (the Phanteks Eclipse P400) is just too big for what I need.
The current problems I'm facing are support for my kraken x52 rad (240mm) and my GPU (which is under 300mm in length).
I was considering getting an ITX motherboard and case but because I'm pretty short on cash often good options would require me to get a new smaller PSU as well.
Main factors that I care about would be portability, sound, and compatibility.
My current specs are as follows:
- i7 6700k
- Gigabyte Z170-HD3 mobo
- 600 or 650W PSU
- g1 gaming GTX 1080
- 1x 3.5" HDD
- 1x m.2 SSD
- 2 sticks of ram
- kraken x52 liquid CPU cooler
If I've forgotten anything I'm sorry.
So basically in summary I'd like to keep as much as possible to avoid spending more on an ITX setup, I'd like to have it be much smaller than my current case for a little more portability, and of course for most people, something that's pretty good value so I'd hope to be looking for something under or around $120AUD.
