Greetings, and thanks for taking the time to lend me your $0.02.
I currently have an EVGA GTX 650 TI Boost Superclocked. It's p/n 02G-P4-3658-KR
Base Clock: 1072 MHZ
Boost Clock: 1137 MHz
Memory Clock: 6008 MHz Effective
CUDA Cores: 768
2GB DDR5
The question is, do I purchase an identical second one (used)? And then SLI them? They sell for about $40-$50 on eBay. $5 for SLI bridge.
OR, do I sell mine for $50 and then look for a newer, more powerful card for about $150 or less. USED is fine.
It will be used in the following system, mostly for a 4+ monitor setup for FOREX trading, some light Adobe work, and gaming. I do prefer higher settings in games, but haven't had any complaints about the performance of my 650 TI Boost for the games that I do play.
Dell Precision T5500
2x Xeon X5680s
24GB RAM
SSD for OS, 2 TB for storage
Windows 7 Pro
The main reason I'm asking is because there are TONS of GPUs on the market and I'm not up to date on the best deals, I figure you guys probably have a much better idea of the most efficient way to maximize ones graphics
Thanks!
