Asrock AB350M pro4 + Ryzen 1500x won't work (5 beeps)

Pros: Doing a budget build for a client, I buy a lot of parts for people so I work with a lot of different hardware.
So far, I like the bios, it has a lot of changeable functions that 90% of people won't touch or know about.. But for a $75 board I'm impressed. Normally you get these kinda options with a performing board. This is a budget motherboard and I have not been let down.

***IF YOU ARE USING A RYZEN CHIP***
This motherboard has onboard video. But This is an AMD board and they're trying to push their new APU's...

If you get the Ryzen CPU and no video card, you will not render a display. You can plug your monitor into the native DVI/HDMI/VGA ports, but it won't display post.

If you want to use this motherboard without a video card, you need to buy a Bristol APU as it has a built in R7. Then you can use the on board video ports.

Otherwise, if you are using ANY **RYZEN** CPU. GET A VIDEO CARD!

Also, if you decide that you want Windows 7 and not Windows 10.. You're going to have a problem. .

If you want to install Windows 7 you're going to need to use ASRock's Windows 7 USB patcher to create a new ISO for your USB stick. You NEED TO DO THIS FOR WINDOWS 7 Because NONE OF YOUR USB WILL WORK. You won't be able to click next, your keyboard won't light up. You can do nothing as soon as you get to the windows install screen cause you won't have any workins USB 2.0 or 3.0. Go get yourself the patcher "http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#osW764"

After you get that patcher, follow these instructions to make a new USB stick.

Hopefully this cuts some time and frustration out of your life.

It's gonna take a while to make the image, so eat lunch/dinner or watch something while you wait.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, a budget PC with 2 M2 slots and this thing is VR capable... You can put up to the Ryzen 7 in this mini-beast. But I'd suggest a better board for a CPU that strong.
