Hello,
My motherboard has alc887 i'm using kingston hyperx cloud headset/some cheap earbuds. I find volume on my pc lacking with both headset and earbuds compared to my android and cheap mp3 player. I have tried using some cheap no name usb dac on my pc, volume was much higher but there was almost no bass, overall quality was worse. Quality on alc887 if good enough for me, just need more volume, have tried almost everything options wise, reinstalled realtek drivers etc..
Need help deciding if i need usb amp/dac or soundcard. Limited hardware in my country and i'm on a budget. Wouldn't want to pay more than 50eur, but if you think it's worth it, then what can i say.
