Now that Intel and AMD have shown their new cpus, it's kinda hard to decide wether to go for the new red or blue series cpu or something little bit older like I7 7700k? no price limit.

Get the I7 7700k. It is on sale right now for a hair over 300 and it should keep you running smoothly for many years to come. The coffee lake cpus will be $60 more and don't have as high of single core clock speed (4.5k vs 3.7k) which considering a lot of applications don't properly use the 2 additional cores will provide you a better deal.

true but then you are looking at platform cost. The x299 is way more expensive than the x370 or even the b350.

Your best bang for the buck is the Ryzen 1700. Yes it doesn't get as high of frame rates as the I7 7700k but when tested for the receiving end of the stream looks smoother.

Again no price limit and recording means editing too. prefferably 1080p and 60fps on games where it doesnt affect the game fps that much or just 1080p and 30fps and the recording/streaming software is OBS. I'm gonna custom loop cool the system so OC is definently a must.

This is my pc that I use for streaming, gaming, editing and Cad rendering with Revit, Solidworks, and Inventor. I'm able to play every game at 1080p and 60 fps. I use OBS to stream at 1080p 30FPS and I'm only limited by my upload speed for my internet (5-6mbps).

If you are going balls in for a high priced workstation/gaming rig then look at threadripper more than the intel i9/i7 extreme edition.

Sub out the workstation video card for a 1070 or 1080ti and you are set for a long while.

And you would be set with the lower build. Just subbing out what is there but everything else is very solid.
