Its a horror game that starts in some pub. You can not go outside just in bathroom. Then some lights come on and you wake up on some ship in space. Pc game,2004-2010. Myb it is older.

Sounds a bit like Silent Hill 2, but would be outside your timeframe as I think it released in 2001 on PS2...... I think PC followed in 2002?

I don't think there was a spaceship in Silent Hill. I didn't play beyond the first game in the franchise. Maybe deadspace? Also didn't play any of that franchise. Not big into horror. <shrug>
