Local area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration

So this happened: the internet was working fine in the morning no problems. I needed to leave 2 hours and i left the computer open but when i came back the internet had the yellow triangle of doom and the error appeared.

You’re missing a default gateway. Right click on the icon and run the troubleshooter. It should reset the adapter and reconnect.

I get the same error with the ip configuration , i've tried every possible thing before posting this and i fear that i made the problem worse ...

The LAN IP address is an APIPA address. Looking at the ipconfig you either do not have a cable connecting the computer to a router or the cable is disconnected, or the router is not working.

I don't even know what the problem is when i try to use the cable on my laptop the internet is not working but on every device that i use wireless the internet is working also when i try another cable on my pc i get the exact same problem . If the cable was broken shouldn't i get an error like no connection?
The thing is that i always get the unidentified network no internet access problem. Also i opened the pc today and the internet seemed to be working but it was disconnecting frequently and i got the error no gateway access .But later i checked the wire on my laptop and it didn't work after that i put it back in my pc and the problem came back.
I don't even know what may be problem my pc or the wire?

It sounds like the wire. Try using a new one.

I changed the wire it seems to be something up with my router . I checked the new wire on my laptop too and i get the same problem but the thing is that i have a TV that can be used on internet and it has a wire inside and the internet works on the TV. Any ideas what could be up with the router? The router is pretty new i brought it last year.
