Hey guys, I am just finding an outside opinion I currently have a 750 ti paired with athlon 860k 16 GB ram and 500watt evga psu. I have just brought a Ryzen 5 1600 and 16 GB ram. I currently have a reserved RX 570 on Amazon for £173.99 on Amazon. Is this a good idea? I have around £200 to £220 budget and would like a card with some decent VRAM size as have ran into many issues with the 2gb 750 ti. I play games like GTA 5, mafia 3, just cause 3 and other AAA games I feel like.
Do you guys have a suggestion?

Thanks in advance

The RX570 is in the same tier as both the RX580 and the GTX 1060. See http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

Further, until the crypto-mining craze went haywire, the RX 570 was the recommended card for best @ 1080p and good @ 1440p on the Best GPUs page as well.

Even the techspot website puts them at about even, so not getting where you say that 1060 3gb beats RX 570 in almost all games, not to mention Tom's Hardware's review of the RX 570 at http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-radeon-rx-570-4gb,5028.html

Is the 1060 6GB better? Probably a little. It'd make more of a difference at 1440p rather than 1080p, though. Not really worth the extra £47 I think, though, I'm running on the assumption that the OP is...

For 1080p gaming, the RX570 isn't a bad card. GTX 1060 6GB has 30W less power usage, though. They're both on the same tier in the hierarchy charts. Given the price difference, I'd say for Jake that the RX570 is the way to go.

I don't think an extra 27% in cost is worth the imperceptible difference between the performance of the two cards.

Wrong, 1060 3gb can easily beat 570 in almost all the games, not to mention 1060 6gb...
