Hi guys,

I recently upgraded my RAM from 8GB to 16GB (4 DIMMS of Crucial DDR4-2133 4GB) and now my computer crashes every now and then, but only when playing the game F1 2017. At first the crashes froze everything on my two screens, making me unable to input anything and forcing me to reset by power button. I solved this by lowering my graphics settings, but now I got a BSOD crash that said CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and was stuck at 0% of gathering information until I manually shut it off.

My other specs:

Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H
Intel i5-6400
Gainward GTX 1060 6GB
400W be quiet! System Power 8
1TB Seagate HDD
120GB WD Green SSD

The Watchdog error usually refers to an unstable cpu overclock, or cpu uncore overclock. Which is entirely possible considering new ram. Or the ram voltage isn't high enough. But seeing as you have a locked CPU your best bet would be to completely reset your bios by clearing the cmos. Also the VCCSA, VCCIOA and VCCIOD voltages all tie into ram, if you can change them you might need to do so because occupying all ram slots requires those values to be adjusted.
