Just put together a new build and 20 or 30 mins into playing saints row 3 the game will crash, everything is at stock no overclocking, the only issue I can think is my 1060 might be over heating maybe or a driver issue I am not aware of. I have ran stress tests for each component with out any problem and I have no hangup while just preforming regular tasks.

I play at 1440p Ultra or High setting on a Dell Monitor.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SSC
GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 AMD Ryzen AM4 B350
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB
RipJaws 2800 DDR4 2x8 F4-2800C16D-16GVG

My RX 480 is like that. What I ended up doing was to install MSI afterburner and create a custom fan profile like you did. I also got creative, since I didn't have any cards below my GPU, I punched out all my PC slot covers, and zip tied an 80 mm case fan there set to pull air out from under the card.

I actually though have ordered a bracket and s couple of 80 mm fans that will essentially turn 2 80mm fans into a pic slot cooler blower setup. I am going to try using that and forcing cool air directly into the fans on the card. I don't need to do that now but since I already ordered the parts I might as well try it out.

The 1060 was over heating, the fans were not kicking up with the temps so I just made a fan curve for right now, played for about two hours with temps at 60 on ultra settings. Thanks for the help!
