Fixing an old AKAI TV

I got an AKAI tv from 2005 and when i turn it on the screen loads for about half a second then it all turns off any suggestions on how to fix it.

Some component getting warmed up, expanding, and shorting out.

Maybe within the power supply.

Google "akai tv schematic diagram".

My search provided a number of schematics. You can google for the manual and maybe some troubleshooting procedures. Just be sure to get the correct schematic and manual for your model.

Most likely you will need to diagnostic tools - most likely a multi-meter, maybe an oscilloscope to trouble shoot individual components.

But you also need the necessary skills and experience. If you do not have them then get a knowledgeable person to help - friend, family....

If you do things wrong you may permanently damage the TV at best or electrocute yourself at worst.
