Computer not booting with new CPU+new motherboard

Recently upgraded to an FX-8370 but it was unstable in my old motherboard, so bought a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard, and although it lists the 8370 as a compatible CPU, I don't get any POST or cant get to BIOS with the 8370 in. I currently have my old FX-4100 in and everything is running just fine

The most current BIOS is already installed, and I tried to update it again anyways and put the new FX-8370 back in and the same problem was happening. Fans and motherboard turns on, but no POST and cant get to BIOS at all, but everything works completely fine with the old FX-4100

Sorry, should have clarified. I have rev. 2 of the motherboard and the FD BIOS is installed

All the pins look fine. I tried downgrading to FA and still nothing, upgraded back to FD and still no sign. When I put the FX-8370 in, my mouse and keyboard also don't light up when the computer turns on.

Might be something wrong with the CPU since you can get another CPU to work, and that one won't.

Yeah, most likely. I'll just return it for a refund and try to get a new FX-8370 within the week
