Hi there,

I have had my pc for a year and now I have come to a major problem. I recently replaced my EVGA 600w bronze psu with a corsair RM750x Gold rated psu about 2 months ago. I was playing Ghost Recon Wildlands last night and after about an hour, my PC cut off and rebooted to the ASUS anti surge page where I got the message "Asus Anti-surge was triggered to protect the system from unstable power unit." I didn't think much of it but now I cant get any game to run. Everytime I load into a game the system shuts down while loading into games and gives me the ASUS anti surge message. I tried updating the motherboard BIOS but it didn't work. Here are my PC specs:

CPU: Intel i7 6700 @ 3.4 GHZ
Motherboard: Asus z170M-E D3 Micro ATX
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16 GB DDR3-1600
GPU: Geforce GTX 1070 8 GB
PSU: Corsair RMx 750W 80+ Gold
OS: Windows 10 64 Bit

Any kind of help would be fantastic, this is really frustrating me. I'm about to try and swap in my old power supply and see if that helps it. All my temperatures seem normal so I don't think anything is overheating. I can load into game menus but I can't get into a game anymore. I think the psu is giving my 1070 enough power anymore. Again if anyone can help that would be great. If this was unclear let me know and I will try to clarify.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I actually plugged in my old EVGA 600B psu and I was actually able to get into Wildlands and play. I'm gonna try it out for a bit to make sure that the RM750x is the culprit.
