Hello, I was running cinebench on my i7 4790k (push pull 120 rad) and it showed 89 C as the temp with the CPU at 4.599 GHz. I haven't OCed at all and am thinking it might be a little inaccurate.

With Intel CPUs is there a temperature offset or CPU speed boost that reaches 4.6? I think the 4790k boost is only 4.4.

Thanks for any clarification you can offer.

It sounds more like your motherboard bios has a 'high performance' mode or 'ez overclock' setting turned on by default. I'm guessing those numbers are accurate. It might be stable, but too hot for my comfort. Check you bios settings.
