Solution captaincharisma Sep 26, 2017 if this laptop has a DVD drive you can replace that with a HDD caddy. that's what i did with my lenovo G510 laptop. the HDD caddy needs to be the same dimensions as the optical drive for it to fit. here is an example of one, not sure if this one would fit so best to check on the lenovo forms https://www.amazon.ca/UniLink-Universal-Laptop-DVD-ROM-Optical/dp/B0188DGL9Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1506427981&sr=8-1&keywords=hdd+caddy

According to this you can have a drive in the main drive slot on the back of the laptop and another drive in the optical drive slot. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-IdeaPad-310-15IKB-Notebook-Review.186812.0.html Upvote 0 Downvote
