Power supplies don't take an instant 450w as soon as the PC is turned on. When the PC goes under load, it will pull as much as it needs from the wall, not as much as the power supply can handle.

You can do some napkin math and figure out how much your system will pull under 100% load, and that would be a good place to start. The only real way to test wattage from the wall is with some kind of measuring device (google searching here will help you out a lot).

If you're not planning to do many things that would send your system to full load, then you probably don't have much to worry about.

I have my doubts about your system consuming more than 100W. The GFX card(dedicated) is usually the hungriest component.

Do you really want to know? https://www.amazon.com/P3-International-P4460-Electricity-Monitor/dp/B000RGF29Q will tell you.

yeah I know my pc total power is 130-150 watt using pcpartpicker site.but I read somewhere that your smps should not be too big .If it is than there is no value for 80% efficiency .and your pc will pull more power.

thank you sir.

MB-ga h110m-s2 = 54 watts

MONITOR- HP 22ES = 21 watts

RAM-Corsair value select 2133 ram(2*4) = 6 watts

CABINET- antec gx200 = 5 watts

HDD-wd 1 tb 7200 rpm = 8 watts

DVD DRIVE- asus 24D5MT = 8 watts

102 watts x 36 hours / week x 52.17 weeks x $0.1322 (avg US energy costs) / (1000 watts per kw x 85% eff) = @ $30 a year

And that assumes that CPU is maxed out all the time so will be less.
