Is the Rosewill Capstone G650w good? (SOLVED:NOT RLLY)

Solution

Between the 2, Seasonic is still the better choice :) They are expensive for a reason. You don't want to be cheap on PSU, you may regret it afterwards.

Depends which Capstone. The older ones they discontinued in 2015 are very good ones, on Super Flower's Golden Green platform. This platform was not as advanced as the Leadex that EVGA 2s and 3s were based on, but they were still high-performing PSUs with all-Japanese caps. The Enhance Capstone Gs are more than adequate, but there are a lot of better-than-good PSUs available now.

But u see Seasonic is way overpriced for their wattage. s12ii 520w for over £60, when Rosewill Capston 650w is £65. Thats why i want to know about this one specifically.

ok thank you, I'll definitely look more into the seasonic line. I was searching a lot for m12ii and s12ii before i stumbled on rosewill capstone G, which is apparently made by enhance so i wont be buying that anymore. Seasonic was always my first choice :D but the deal on the rosewill seemed too good to be true. and it is, now that i know better.

While it's OK, I'd rather have the SeaSonic M12 II 520 at the same price.
