Hello everyone, i just bought a brand new laptop Acer VX15 with i5 processor, gtx 1050ti, 8gb ram, windows 10 Pro and when i start Warface after the intro video ends the screen blinks couple times and i get a Blue Screen with the error "Your PC Ran Into a Problem and Needs to Restart" and it restarts automatically. I tried Battlefield 4 and 1 and i didnt have such a problem. While playing Battlefield the max CPU temperature was 87°C and max GPU temp was 70°C. Can you please help me ?

I think your Laptop CPU is overheating. Use a Laptop cooler with fans and see if the problem persists. It is common for Laptops to restart or shut down when such overheating is traced.
Also, if you are not having a problem with other graphics heavy games (BF4 is one such, you may want to check the GPU drivers compatibility with the game. Sometimes, some games are not kind to laptop/mobility versions of GPU).

Is 87°C high for a laptop CPU ? Are laptop coolers really useful/effective ? Yes i am playing BF4 and even BF1 without such problems (way more intense games than a free to play Warface). How can i check the GPU drivers compatibility with the game ? And what can i do about it ?

Yes, 86 is high. 90 is where the CPU starts throttling itself to make sure it doesn't get damaged.
70 for a GPU is no reason for alarm.
Laptop coolers are useful, the air in for your laptop is below the laptop. w/o cooler you have 5mm of air there, and it is heated by your underplate.
With cooler there's a lot more air, and a fan pulling it from further away. Temperatur of the air supplied by the laptop cooler should be lower than that supplied by just the laptop. And that allows for better cooling.

Considering the minimum CPU requirements and you not having issues with BF1, which came out 3 years later and should be harder to run, there should be a driver issue somewhere.
Easiest is to get the Nvidia automatic driver update thingy which is called . . . . experience?
If the latest isn't great you should start scouring the warface forums for mention of the 1050, the Acer VX15 or your specific i5. Considering the temps, start with the i5. Then see if there's a driver/setting/something which makes that particular piece of tech crash with that particular game.

I just updated the BIOS to the latest version which is provided in the acer website. Then i reset the nvidia settings so i guess the game run with the integrated GPU. The result: the game started but even on all settings on LOW i had 20 fps....At least the laptop didn't restart and i was able to check what HWMONITOR says and it was: https://imgur.com/a/G52lS (screenshot). So the CPU is far from overheating. After that i edited the nvidia settings to high performance and again i got the Blue Screen with "Your PC Ran Into a Problem and Needs to Restart". Another question: if 86C is high what can i do about it other than buying a laptop cooler ? Lets keep in mind that it's a brand new laptop, i bought it yesterday.... Is it defective ? Should i send it back and ask for my money ?

Isn't that "Your PC Ran Into a Problem and Needs to Restart" message just Windows 10 BSOD screen? Does it say anything else on there, give you any kind of error information?

You should also be able to look in the Event Viewer and see if there are any errors listed. Google is your friend if you're not sure how. Next time the laptop crashes, make note of the time. Then look through the event viewer.

Once you have Event Viewer open, on the left panel menu you should see a drop down arrow by a folder named "Windows Logs". Click on that drop down arrow. You will now see other options to pick from:
Application
Security
Setup
System
(and maybe others)

Choose "System"

In the middle of the window (it may take a moment to populate information) you'll see it list out all sorts of information. Look for any that have ERROR at the time that the computer gave you the blue screen.

If you don't see anything under the System logs, look in the Application logs. Any other information you can locate will help you figure out the issue you're having.

I don't think I did something significant but somehow I am able to play the game now. The funny thing is that the game is laggy and has lower fps on full screen even on low settings and it runs smoothly and has higher fps on windowed mode.... This is ridiculous, as far as I know it should be the opposite (the game should run better at full screen) . So is this a video driver problem? Any suggestions?
