Upgrade from i5-2320 to r5 1600

Hey everyone, this is my first time here.

So basically this is my current specs:
Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
MSI H61MA-E35
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

And I will not lie, this spec has served me very well in recent years.
Up to now.
In recent weeks my computer has been having a hard time with the new games coming out this year so I decided it was time for a serious upgrade.

I thought about the following specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
16 GB DDR4 RAM 3000MHz (2*8)
Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H OR Asus PRIME B350M-K
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

What do you think? Is this spec suitable for serious gaming and video editing?
You might think of a better processor or motherboard ?

This is good enough for Adobe Premiere Pro.

First of all thanks for the suggestion I will consider adding an SSD, but yes I already have the 970.
Besides that, why MSI? as far as I know, there is no difference in performance between motherboards, but only differences in the features they offer.

Google reviews for those two boards. I will imagine if those negative review situation happens, which one is least worst.Then I picked msi, OC to 3.8G and 3200MHz easily. I love the appearance as well. All three are good choices, personal preference
