Upgraded rig from a micro ATX mother board with an Intel processor to a Asus ROG strix x370-f gaming motherboard and ryzen 1700x processor. Been getting the BSOD everytime I try any stress test for either the cpu or graphics card.

Current specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 1700x Eight-Core Processor
16 GB ram
GeForce GTX 980
Asus ROG Strix x370-f Gaming Motherboard
2 1TB Western Digital hard drives
Liquid cooled

I've tried wiping my drives and starting with windows 8 to windows 10 but it fails every time I try and upgrade to windows 10. Had windows 10 before the wipe but that didn't seem to help any since I was still getting the BSOD. Have yet to get an error code and when I do BSOD the item it tells me to search doesn't seem to relate to my problem.

Solution
basically, update the BIOS and motherboard drivers. There are cpu microcode updates for the BIOS versions.
then if you still get bugchecks, provide the minidump files from c:\windows\minidump directory
