What budget motherboard do i buy?, I'm on a budget, I'v had this PC for almost 3 years now but seems motherboard is faulty and what stand offs do i buy?

None. The standoffs that came with the case will still serve their original purpose.

The AM3+ motherboards that you will buy are almost going to be the same price as a Ryzen motherboard. If your computer is working at all I would save up enough and replace your processor with one from the Ryzen line.

What makes you think your current motherboard is faulty? Does it just not turn on?

I would do the R3 1200. It can be overclocked to where the R3 1300X is no problem and comes in at $110 USD. From there go with the MSI B350 PC MATE, which is $90 USD, for the motherboard and you should be good. Keeps the whole thing in a pretty reasonable range and you still get a really decent quadcore CPU with overclocking capability from the motherboard.

Then go to ebay and find the cheapest AM3 motherboard you can find on ebay. They should be very cheap. Any AM3 motherboard will run that chip. I would not spend much money on the motherboard as the AM3 platform is dead.
