I decided to see if my system was working well, I used a cpu benchmark called GeekBench to bench my cpu, I got a score of around 5050, when the average score for and i5-7600k was 5395, that's for the single core test, I don't know about the multi score scores since I'm not home but I remember them being lower than the average too. Please help?

Your bench is not down by enough to warrant an issue with your CPU. It is off by about 7%. If you are not overclocking and running at base speed, then it would make sense for your bench to below average as a majority of users who are benchmarking the 7600k are going to overclock their CPU which would give a 5%ish gain in the benchmark. So if you are concerned, overclock you CPU and you should be results that will be closer to the scores you are seeing.

Additionally, geekbench is not the best benchmarking tool to give typical results. Cinebench is used a lot more and is a better barometer of your CPU performance.
