I have no idea what forum to post this in because I have no clue what is going on with my comp.
I have a really nice self built computer, SSD/ I-5 stable at 4.6/ 1080ti/ 32 gigs ddr3 my computer is lightning fast, I can usually have chrome opened up and moving 3 seconds after logging on, the internet at my place is great, never have ANY issues.
So 2 days ago out of the blue, whenever I would open chrome it would just stay blank and wouldn't load my home page, it would just sit there with the rotating circular blue icon at the top of the tab. I tried resetting the router, switching from a wired to wireless no change. I finally figured out that chrome would load the page, it would just take about 2-5 minutes, and then would seem to get a bit faster if I tried going to another website, it was almost like some other program had hijacked my chrome and was loading up when I started chrome. I tried firefox, internet explorer, and reinstalled chrome like 10 times, same problem with all browsers. My work computer is a piece of trash, sitting here connected to the same internet in the same spot and has no internet issues whatsoever.
Figured I got some kind of virus or something so I completely wiped and clean installed windows and am still experiencing the same issue. Every other comp or device in the house seems to be working perfectly and I have absolutely no idea what to do. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
