Is this monitor good enough for gaming??

Solution
The lg IPS are decent screens mate full stop

Obviously not the absolute best gaming monitors but that's a budget model so you wouldn't expect it to be.

For general use & casual gaming they're absolutely
fine

You won't see less than 5ms response advertised on any IPS screen because the technology used makes it impossible.

& no you'll never see any model match it's advertised response time anyway the fastest advertised 1ms tn panels are anywhere between 6-12ms.IPS generally between 10-16ms.

They always advertise a best case scenario, not real world testing.

5ms is quite common in IPS displays now a days and response times ranging from 1ms to 5ms are acceptable. What I would recommend is you look for a monitor with better refresh rates but that will push up the price significantly. Also this would depend on your rig. If you have a GTX 1060+ you will be only getting 60fps output even if your rig is capable of producing much more. Plus monitors usually move on from one build to the next. Explore more options HERE.

i dont mind getting something max 60fps, i dont need those super high class 120hz monitors since i dont play cs:go and stuff like that, just mainly play Ark, and survival games
