BIOS update and nvme

I have a 960 evo nvme installed, windows 10 on ASRock AB350 fatality gaming ITX..........I want to update BIOS, but does this mean I will have to reinstall the 960?

you do not need to remove any parts connected to the motherboard when doing a BIOS update. if that is what you meant. however you may need to setup any settings in the BIOS again after the update.

No, My concern is that the BIOS settings to enable the NVME to install would be lost, and I assume I would have to make the same settings on the new BIOS................ which is a pain.....

i know for asus they recommend setting the BIOS to defaults after the update but some might wipe out the settings

Updated to latest, booted fine after, nothing changed except BIOS
