Corsair cooler led

I have this Corsair cooler on top of my CPU, watercooler. Now the Corsair symbol LED is flashing red. It usually stays white and no flash. What is going on?

The CPU temperature is the important issue. The RED Led could be a sign that the CPU may be overheating, or a mechanism in the cooling as failed. But this will come along with an overheating CPU. Equally it could be software/firmware related.

Has it come on suddenly? Have you recently changed anything in your PC?
