Hey, currently using DDR4 2133Mhz CL14 (HyperX)
Gonna upgrade my 6600 (non-K) to the new 8700K when it becomes available.
Is there any reason upgrading RAM as well?

Solution
According to a video from Digital Foundry some games saw a significant increase in performance from pairing 3000MHz RAM with the i5-7600K at stock speeds. The results were slightly faster performance than with 2133Mhz RAM with the 7600K at 4.8GHz (or whatever the overclock was.)

That being said there is a point; but it's certainly not necessary.

CAN i know ur RAM space. if its 32gb(16gb*2) 2666mhz there is no worry for changing the RAM and above. if its less than that u need to 32gb(16gb*2) RAM. and the speed should be 2666mhz and above

for more info this url link
https://ark.intel.com/products/126684/Intel-Core-i7-8700K-Processor-12M-Cache-up-to-4_70-GHz

see the Memory Specifications

2666mhz and above RAM in any SPACE of gb that can perform well with the processor

u should change ur RAM

there should be a 2 channels of RAM in ur motherboard to process well
