Hi all!
Maybe this question was already asked a bunch of times but I keep my doubts when talking about Vcore near 1.4V.
My build:
Asus z270m prime
I7 7700k (delidded)
Kraken X42
Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB WF OC
Crucial ballistix sport 32GB DDR4 2400Mhz
Corsair VS650
I have been having issues with my OC. After delidded my CPU and installing a Kraken X42 I'm able to OC my CPU to 5Ghz @ 1.38Vcore (Bios) 1.39V ( SW readings). System is stable, no issues when using constant Vcore with manual settings.
When trying to use adaptive Vcore with negative offset, I get BSOD now and then or total feeze when gaming or using demanding software like audio DAW (Cubase)
LLC is set to level 5
My question is:
Being a litlle bit tired of not getting a stable adaptive OC, will manual 1.38Vcore damage my CPU on the long run? Is it posible that maintaining this setup will make the OC unstable over time, or is totally fine and I shouldnt worry and even try 1.4V constant and maybe 5.1 Ghz? This last part is a bit greedy, I know.
Thank you all!!
Regards,
Luís
