Yeah the PSU is enough to handle that load .There won't be much bottleneck most of the time ,only in few games where the more CPU intensive task but u can get the rysen 5 1600 for the same price .Also coffeelake releasing on Oct 5 ,so just wait few days and decide.It has 6cores and 6threads

That depends on the resolution u r playing. For 4k 60hz, the bottleneck would be negligible. For 1080p 144hz, the 1080 is overkill AF. For 2k 144hz, that 1080p is perfect but it will be bottlenecked by the i5.
In short, for 144hz, look for 8700k.
