Can anyone help with this? I have a ASUS Z270E motherboard I bought in January. It's been fine up until yesterday. Now, the cursor jumps all over. The RGB lighting turns itself on and off on it's own. The sound has started crackling and edge shuts down on its own every so often. I contacted ASUS and got a RMA so guess I'll be sending it back. I was just wondering if there was a way to check it out first. My complete info is below.

i7-7700K at 4.5
GTX-1060 6GB
ASUS Z270E Strix Gaming
32 GB Crucial 2400 memory
850 EVGA Bronze PS
Corsair H80i v2 Cooler.

Thanks Everyone!

Just noticed something else. This board (?) or CPU. I went to BIOS to get it back STOCK. I clicked on Defaults which should be 4.2 on the CPU, but it defaults to 4.5? Could the board be OK and the 7700K be bad? Would a bad CPU cause these symptoms? THANKS !!

First, THANK YOU for the reply. Yep, I think mine is ver 1009 either way it's the latest. This just started yesterday. I just did a CLRTC on the motherboard and no matter it stays at 4.5 and won't go to 4.2. I am pretty much thinking that way too, that's why I already go the RMA. THANKS AGAIN!! Flyboy
