So i have a 4670k and I'm currently running 4.2GHz at 1.198v and I was wondering if this is a good voltage for that overclock?
I also want to know if i could achieve higher and what should the maximum voltage be. Now temps in idle are low 30 to mid 30. In stress It goes up to low / mid 60'C.
My mobo is Asus H97M-E and Crucial Ballistix sport 1600 memory.

My mistake, it does.

Even then though, looks to be a 4+1 power phase design, so really isn't likely to be capable of OCing too much, regardless of the BIOS' ability.

You could always try to push your OC higher. 1.198V is fine for 4.2....... I'd see what you can do though. Either stable or not, provided your temps stay safe, and voltage stays below 1.3V.

1.3V (with appropriate cooling) would be the max recommended voltage for the generation .....
Given the 4670K boosts to 3.8GHz, 4.2GHz is only a ~10% OC, so <1.2V is fine.... especially as you're likely limited to a BCLCK OC on the H97 board?
