I bought a "EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC), Only 6.8 Inches Graphics Card 06G-P4-6163-K" and didn't realize how loud a single fan GPU can be (it's not a hardware issue - I confirmed it was running as expected).

Is there a viable option in terms of a heatsink or fan that I can buy to make it quieter? Or should I just buy a new GPU with 2x fans?

Thank you for the help.

This is why I cringe when reading "just buy the cheapest one" recommendations in response to which GFX card should I buy. Engineering design is about balancing needs .. toy want to tweak a design to provide more of one thing, ya gotta give up something else.

So when ya want smaller card size to fit in smaller cases and reduce production costs, you need to give up performance and / and or live with more noise.

EK doesn't make a full cover water block for this card, the do make a universal one. That still leaves cooling the VRM and memory

You should have 3 or 4 fans in your case running 400 - 900 rpm to keep things cool
