I changed the number of processors from 1 to 2 thinking my PC Windows 7 32 bit would run faster instead Windows wont boot. I am sent to system recovery options and have tried everything but Windows cant fix this issue automatically. I need help asap please. It would be greatly appreciated ..thank you

It might be a good idea to try a CMOS reset, if you know how to do it. It's fairly easy - you disconnect your computer from the power outlet, open it up, and look for a battery on the motherboard. It'll be those coin-sized silver batteries. Remove the battery for at least 10 minutes(while keeping the computer disconnected from power), then place the battery back in. This will usually reset your BIOS, and might fix your issue. Try turning the computer on now(after re-connecting the power of course).

Hi
I had kind of the same problem but I changed my processors from using 1 to 4 now it takes around 2 hours to get to my desktop to load everything and even from there it is very very slow (unusable)
I have decent specs and currently using windows 10 if someone could help that would be great thankyou.
