Just installed my new graphics card, a GTX 1050 ti, and my computer hangs on the boot screen.The fans on the card will start moving but then stop after about 5 seconds. Also after about 10 seconds my computer makes a short beep. My specs are:
12GB of RAM
Motherboard: IPISB-CH2
Processor: i7-2600 3.4 GHz
PSU: HP 460W
I have updated by BIOS to their latest version ( which is from 12/10/2011). Maybe this means my motherboard is too old to run the new card?
Any help is very much appreciated.
