New PC build no post after a lot of research; 6 beep code

At the end of August I bought the parts (see below) for the build and after I put it together it wouldn't post but would beep 6 times. I looked online and that either meant the motherboard or CPU was the issue. I also found that its possible the motherboard didn't have the proper BIOS to run my CPU so I thought that was it. I bought a compatible CPU yet it still beeped 6 times. Then I went into the store (Microcenter) to replace the motherboard with the same kind because I thought that was defective, yet Im still getting 6 beeps. If all else fails I'm going to take it to micro center and pay their $40 diagnostic fee to see what the issue is but i'd rather not do that if I don't have to.
Things I've tried:

  • Checked for BIOS being out of data (as explained above)

Took RAM out and put into my own computer and my computer worked, yet my RAM didn't work in this build.

Unplugged random stuff and found if I start it without a CPU at all I still get 6 beeps, while running it without RAM or power connection to the motherboard it will give a different beep code (I think like 2 although not sure)

Went through This no post checklist and still nothing
Parts:
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-h110m-a lga 1151 matx
CPU: Intel Pentium g4600 (Although I used the Intel Pentium g4400 to test if the motherboard BIOS was out of date)
RAM: GeIL 8GB 2 x 4GB DDR4-2400
PSU: 500w (the link brings you to the case because it came with the case)
HDD: Some random refurbished 2TB one

I didn't get a GPU because this was a budget build and not for gaming. If i'm missing any relevant parts please let me know and ill add them.

How do you know the PSU is the problem? Is it just that the PSUs that come with cases are never good enough or is there a way to tell if it will work?
Also what about a PSU makes it "bad" other than the wattage?

I'll try swapping out the PSU to see if that fixes it.

They are VERY LOW QUALITY, the lowest normally.

Did you read that thread I posted?
