Been having some really weird lag/ stuttering in GTA 5 where the game freezes for a sec or two than frame drops then goes to normal, it has been doing this a lot mainly when driving, I was having this same problem in the newer doom, idea idea what this could be from?

931 hard drive (8 years old) no ssd
Temps run at 60-70 c for GPU and CPU while gaming
Haven't had this stutter problem in other games that I know of
