Hi, I am looking to build a PC for the main purpose of editing in Davinci Resolve 14 free. I have a fairly low budget, so I was looking at a combo of this https://www.amazon.com/MSI-970A-GAMING-PRO-CARBON/dp/B01LAFXQBI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1506713899&sr=8-2&keywords=DDR3%2Bmotherboard%2BAMD&th=1 and this https://www.amazon.com/AMD-FX-8370-Octa-core-Processor-FD8370FRHKHBX/dp/B01798X7D2/ref=pd_sim_147_8?_

I don't have much experience in this kind of thing, so I would be open to GPU suggestions as well as whether or not this setup can work for editing 1080p video.

Solution

Will cost you around the same. Current tech. and comes with a pretty robust cooler for overclocking.
