what graphics card would work best for me?

Hello,
I am rather useless with computers, I have had mine for numerous years but gaming has always been a struggle so I need a better graphics card one would assume.
the specs are: ( if any other details needed do inform me)

  • intel core i7-3770 3.4Ghz quad core cpu with turbo boost and hyper-threading
    16gb of ram and 2tb of hard drive
    nVidia GT630 2GB DDR3 Graphics card
    64bit.
I would love some help if possible! been struggling for years.

one example is I cannot run cities:skylines without a form of 'lag'

Hi,

thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Would you assume it is the graphics card which is slowing down gameplay?

also would you suggest going via the website or maybe a cheaper alternative.

yes, too old. GPU-Z will tell you GPU usage, I speculate close to 100%

What is GPU-Z if you dont mind me asking.

And thank you very much, I am looking at the moment and I can find some for 150 here in the UK.

I will see if theres any other good ones people suggest and if not will try the one suggested.

Hi i tried to list a photo but cant validate my email here,

everything showed in red and GPU was 100% used
