Does it mean it's not working at all ? if I don't update ?
Even with notifications off and no update notice option, I'm keep getting it.
The reason why I don't want to update is because
if updated, it seems like it's a 30 day trial version.
I only want free version not trial or pay version.
Because I do see that trial letter and everything seems like it's pay to use
and not working unless paid.

Solution
I found it a bit of a nuisance so I always go for the free download. I probably get a fresh one once a week for customers' systems but uninstall it when it's done its job. I wouldn't want some Registry based nag grinding them down after the job is over.

Make your own choice - the key factor is to get the latest version to hit the latest threats.
Three free version of MBAM is fine for specific instances where you think you're infected but by the next time, it's out of date. Uninstall it and download a fresh version. Don't accept the "free trial" offer because you don't need it for thirty days - just long enough to scan and fix what it finds.
