Not getting speeds that i payed for

I am paying for a 10 mbps connection and i am only getting 1-2 mpbs i have a router that supports 300 mbps, when i checked the router settings, it said my connection is 10 but all my other devices are getting 1-2. Thanks

wireless speeds are based on the hardware your devices uses. and the distance they are from the router.

1. make and model of your router
2. make, model of device being used, and ic computer what O/S and wifi device you are using

The only speed that counts is hardwired directly to the router, testing from a known place like speedtest.net.
Anything WiFi does not count.

my wifi router is a tp-link TD-W8961N
i use the Asus PCE-AC55BT Dual-Band Wireless-AC1200 on my pc using windows 10 home
my internet provider is not in the us because I live in Asia.

which means 4 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ports, and IEEE 802.11n Wifi

I use wifi not ethernet so i shouldn't be getting 4

i know that if you have verizion you usually get like 4 mb so considering you have a good modem something is def wrong here

wow really haha thats crazy here where i live verizion is in dsl i have xfinity but all my friends with verizion have 1 - 4 mb btw ookla is not trustworthy at all ive used alot in the past and the only one thats dif is ookla. Becuase i have xfinity it goes out like 3 times a week and even with the internet barely working it was saying i was getting 400mb download
