I currently have 8gb (2x4gb) 1600mhz ddr3 Hyperx RAM. Can i buy another 8gb 1600mhz ram and install it without there being problems between the different modules? Like say i buy corsair vengeance ram of the same speed, will there be any issues with normal tasks and games that requires more than 8gb of ram?

No memory manufacturer would guarantee your proposed setup would work. Two different brands of memory often are incompatible.

Workarounds for getting multiple memory kits to work:
Use slower memory clock speed
Relax memory timings
Increase DRAM voltage
Lower CPU multiplier.
