Don't know if this is the wrong subforum for this question. If so then please move it to the right place.

I have Asrock b350 gaming k4 mobo and Corsair Obsidian Series 450D case.

I am unable to plug in the USB 3.0 header plug from case onto the USB 3.0 header slot on the mobo. On my old MSI Intel mobo, I was able to plug it in. The difference between two mobos was that on Intel mobo, there wasn't any plastic casing around the USB 3.0 header while on new mobo there are.

Solution
Looks to me like the blue plastic is a plastic casing, I would think that it could come off the cable end. Most likely it is the casing from the old mobo, that just came off.

I had tried pulling the blue casing off but it is stuck on there.

Ok I checked the video review of the case and picture of old mobo and you are right it just came off the mobo. I used the screwdriver to pry the casing off the plug and now I can plug it in.

Thanks for the help.
