I am building a PC and I have no idea which graphics card to choose. the 6gb 1060 and the 580 are quite expensice but the 3gb 1060 is apparently much worse than the 6gb version and the 480 doesn't perform that well.
So which is the best one, if I'm going to play at 1080p and want it for about 4 years if possible?

Here are the best offers I've found:

GTX 1060 3GB: https://www.ebuyer.com/756319-gigabyte-nvidia-gtx-1060-windforce-oc-3gb-graphics-card-gv-n1060wf2oc-3gd

GTX 1060 6GB: https://www.ebuyer.com/807454-inno3d-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-x2-graphics-card-n106f-5sdn-n5gs

RX 480: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01N6UL89Q
(for some reason, every single rx 480 is out of stock so I'd have to wait for this one which is a negative)

RX 580: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-DUAL-RX580-O4G-Radeon-Express-3-0Graphics/dp/B071NS93PH
(this one will be in stock soon, so I expect that the price will rise to about £240)

Cpu: R5 1600
Motherboard: ASUS Rog STRIX B350-F Gaming

Well seeing you said 1080p its a hard sell for the 1060 3GB unless you plan on turning some settings down. 4GB vram is the minimum I'd personally recommend. Its also cheaper because etherium requires a minimum of 4GB of VRAM, so miners have no interest in that card whatsoever.

The 1060 6GB is so expensive because miners. Because every miner that can't get a 580, gets the 1060 6GB for mining, being that its not that far in terms of hash rate behind the 580.

The 480 would be a good option if its one of the cheaper ones.

The 580 is just a higher clock variant of the 480 with a few "adjustments" made to it. The performance delta from what I have seen is about 5% give or take.
