I'm planning on building a new gaming computer that will have the MSI X299 Raider motherboard. In the manual (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X299-RAIDER#down-manual) it shows how PCIe lanes will be assigned for 44 lane CPUs and for 28 lane CPUs, but one of the potential CPUs I'm looking at has 40 lanes. How would the PCIe lanes be assigned if I use a 40 lane CPU? Does it use the 28 lane configuration?
